New course help universities make the most of their IP

On 24 March Pera EEMEA hosted the first workshop in a series of Technology Transfer training programmes.

Held at our Windowist Tower office in Istanbul, the team welcomed delegates from numerous Turkish universities to the How to Establish and Run a Successful H2020 Project Management Office workshop.

Developed in partnership with University College London, Highbury and MITO Technology, the one-day course looked at the best practice of establishing and setting up a successful H2020 Project Management Office as part of a Technology Transfer Office (TTO). It focused on:

  • how to define a university’s international research strategy
  • how this strategy can be implemented in the most cost-effective way whilst at the same time increasing the impact of projects in its portfolio
  • efficient and compliant contract management and auditing processes
  • the importance of business planning not just for this year but as a part ongoing strategy for future years.

Pera EEMEA’s new suite of TT training programmes has been designed to help universities make the most of their Intellectual Property. If you would like more information or are interested in attending one of the workshops please email [email protected]
