Pera EEMEA wins contract to deliver GEMIM’s start-up accelerator programme

GEMIM, an initiative led by YASAD (Turkey’s software industry association) and backed by the Istanbul Development Agency, has chosen Pera EEMEA to deliver its start-up accelerator programme.

GEMIM acts as a business accelerator and incubation centre, providing support and advice to start-ups and SMEs within the Turkish software industry. Pera EEMEA has won a contract to deliver coaching in four areas – Design, Innovation, Access to Finance and Intellectual Property – to young, entrepreneurial SMEs. By providing support and opportunities to companies in this sector with the potential to grow, it is hoped that this will help fuel the growth of Turkey’s software industry which hopes to ultimately rank among one of the country’s the top exports.

Okan Kara, Pera EEMEA Managing Director, said “Pera EEMEA has global expertise in supporting growing businesses – working with GEMIM is a great opportunity to share this expertise and help young businesses to achieve their potential.”
